The Beginning of Something Good

Starting today I'll be MIA for a little bit. We'll be going to Colorado for the weekend! My husband and I's best friends are getting married this weekend. I'm the Maid of Honor and my husband is the Best Man, so we've got a lot to do once we get down there. I'm pretty excited since I've never been in a wedding before (well other than my own!) So it's a big deal to me. I've got this really cute red dress and nude heels that I get to wear! And since it's a pretty low budget wedding, I'm going to do my own hair. I'm thinking of doing something like this:
Big curls, lots of volume and very flowy. We'll have to see how it turns out...I'll need to make sure I pack my curling iron, cause if I don't, I'm screwed! Thank God, I finally got my hair extensions. I don't know what I'd do without them. I really don't know how I've lived this long without extensions. They're so handy and easy to style. So, I'm hoping this hairstyle works out. I'll be sure to post pics of how it looks. If you have any styling tips, leave me a comment and help me out!

DAY TWENTY EIGHT
A picture of something you're afraid of.
Robbers! Ever since I've been in my own home away from my parents, I've been scared of robbers. Not that I have a lot of valuable stuff, just that one night, I'll be sleeping and I'll wake up at gunpoint or something. We just recently had a scandal happen in our neighborhood with young men selling magazines who really turned out to be scammers just looking to break into people's houses. I can't stop freaking out about it at night while I'm laying in bed, it just constantly runs through my mind. I have to answer my door with a knife now just to be safe.
SO IF YOU KNOCK ON MY DOOR AND I DON'T KNOW YOU, I WILL STAB YOU. :)

  2. Wash your hair the night before and if you feel like it's greasy or anything in the morning, use dry shampoo instead of washing it again. It'll hold better and will be easier to style and do what you want it to do! :) I went to hair school, if you have any questions at all don't hesitate E-mailing me and asking!:)

  4. I agree with Candice! Every time I got my hair done for prom I always always told to wash & blow dry my hair the night before. Not sure what exactly it does but it's something amazing!

You have GOT to tell me.. were you wearing your extensions when I was up for the weekend? I swear your hair grew like a million inches in just those 2 months I was gone. You whore.

I wish my hair grew that fast.

  5. Yess...extensions are the best invention known for hair! :) I got them at Sally's Beauty Supply, I think it's called? They were about $100 which isn't SUPER bad for extensions. They didn't have a lot of colors to choose from so I ended up having to dye mine, cause my hair color is really hard to match. There's this girl on Youtube that I loveeee! If you search "Foxy Locks Extensions" you'll find her. Those extensions are pretty nice too and they run a little more expensive but they seem really nice.
